GCAA "Rooting Out Poverty" Luncheon

Ninth District Opportunity, Inc. recently met in Atlanta as a member of the Georgia Community Action Association with service providers, legislators and partners from across the state to discuss the new "Rooting Out Poverty" agenda.

The presentation, provided by GCAA Executive Director Lorraine Daniels, included a new 10 year goal of cutting Georgia's poverty to 50% and outlined many of the obstacles and actions that can be taken by the association to assist the poverty households of our state.
